Využití hořčíku u nosnic
Jandová, Eliška
This thesis deals with determination of the magnesium and iron retention in organism. In experiment there were used laying hen of carrier type of hybrids Bovans Brown from the age of fourteen months. Chicken were fed ad libitum with feed mixture with the indicator of chromium oxide the entire duration of the whole experiment. From the beginning of the clutch eggs were removed to specify the strenght of eggshells. The balance digestibility of magnesium was found out in three-day periods. Feed consumption was found out by indi-cator method. An average balance digestibility of magnesium in feed mixture was 55, 1 %. Maximum, about 58%, was reached between 40 – 60 days after laying of the first egg. The course of retention of magnesium from 43rd day before laying of the first egg to 73rd day after laying of the first egg is possible to express by polynomial second degree equation Y= -0,0009x2 + 0,1316x + 54,12; R2 = 0,6414. Daily retention of magnesium that was 127 mg before beginning of the clutch was increased with proceeding clutch and egg weight. During the clutch there were retained 179 – 196 mg of magnesium in the layer´s body. Average content of magnesium in eggshells was 3,771 ± 0,2131 g/kg. For the whole reten-tion period average feed consumption was 120,13 g. In evaluation of quality of eggs from the age of 17. to 29. weeks all values were identical with a technological manual of given hybrid.

PAPOUŠKOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis deals with the proper nutrition of hens intended for egg production. These are mainly laying hens kept in large farms. It deals with information about the best purebred breeds bred in our country in small farms and laying type hybrids used in large farms. Furthermore, the anatomy and physiology of the digestive tract of the hens, a general treatise on nutrients, minerals and vitamins. This information is then closly describe in more detail with regard to specific categories of animals and their needs.
Internal use of mineral water in nourishment
VYŽRÁLKOVÁ, Nikola
The bachelor thesis "Internal use of mineral water in catering" in the theoretical part deals with the topic of replenishment of liquids, not only how many liquids to drink but also what to drink and what to avoid. The following chapter describes what is balneology, its history and important personalities. The theoretical part deals mainly with mineral waters, their origin and distribution. The end of the theoretical part explains what are minerals and their influence on the human body. The research part consists of evaluation of the questionnaire survey results. The goal of the research part was to map the frequency of mineral water consumption by adults in the Czech Republic, with focus on the reasons for mineral water consumption and to find out what the population knows about mineral waters in general. According to the questionnaire survey people use mineral water, but they are not very interested in the mineral water composition or recommended daily amount. The population consumes mineral water mainly because of the taste or to supply the body with liquids.
Evaluation of content levels of selected micro- and macro-elements in grain of fodder wheat cultivars produced within company RABBIT Trhový Štěpánov, a.s.
NERAD, František
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the content parameters of a selected group of macro and micro-elements in wheat seed (Triticum aestivum) within a group of varieties (Elixer, Vanessa, Tobak, Bombus) for feed use. Grain samples obtained in an experiment conducted within the company Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov a.s. on three different sites. In addition to the analysis of the selected group of grain qualitative parameters, the yield parameters (number of plants and cobs per area and harvested grain volume per unit area) were also evaluated. The introductory part of the thesis focuses on general information on wheat, its importance and its use. Another part of the literary research focuses on the chemical composition of the grain, the quality of the wheat and the factors affecting the quality of the wheat. The most important and most extensive part of literary research focuses on general information on minerals and their importance in animal nutrition. The methodology of the work includes the presentation of Holding Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov a.s., characteristics of the varieties and habitats on which the experiment was carried out. Furthermore, of course, it contains the soil and climatic characteristics of the sites and methods used to obtain the assessed data. The final part of the work is devoted to the results, the discussion and the conclusion in which the achieved results are evaluated and compared. It should be added that the data were obtained in the framework of the experiment in close cooperation with Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov a.s. and the level of selected elements in the grain was determined in a certified laboratory according to standardized methodologies and standard operating procedures.

Disorders of mineral metabolism in cattle
KADLECOVÁ, Lenka
My Bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The goal of the theoretical part is to elaborate the bibliography dealing with significant production diseases of cattle with emphasis on the disorders of the metabolism of mineral substances especially of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. The bibliography contains a description of the symptoms, therapies and the prevention of particular diseases. The practical part of my Bachelor thesis includes two areas of findings. The first part focuses on the intake of the minerals substances in question contained in food and mineral supplements in dairy cows on the farm Horní Staňkov. The second part follows the contents of mineral substances and alkaline phosphatase in the blood plasma and urine of dairy cows. Based on the examination of blood plasma and urine an overview of the level of saturation with macroelements in dairy cows was made.
